I realize that SM Games mentioned the next expansion will be the last one, but I still wanted to post this here in case they change their mind on that or if one of these could make it into the next expansion. Thank you in advance excited to play this again, and really stoked to get my Collector’s Edition – Red Rising to the table! If you gain this civilization in the middle of the game, immediately give 4 of your player tokens to opponents, leaving the squares exposed on this mat.”ġ) When picking up the Historians mid-game, no territory tiles need to be discarded when giving the four “Historian Cubes” to opponents.Ģ) When an opponent in possession of a “Historian Cube” gains a landmark, and the Historian player get the bonus, the cube(s) remains with the opponent to possibly trigger again.

Start with covered with your player tokens. I played acquired the Historians civ mid-game it eventually caused a big swing for me, and others wanted to confirm a couple of things: We finally played our first game of Tapestry last night (so much fun, thank you!), and a couple of questions come up. If needed, I’m happy to review the Dutch content for this game so that with reprints or future expansions/updates these changes can be incorporated. (I have the Dutch version so I can play with my kids as well.) I already pointed this out to 999games, but I got no response there. You see however (in my opinion) some differences between some of the initial civilizations and the newest ones: some of the initial ones are relative simple/straight forward where the latest ones have a more unique way of playing and require a better/unique strategy in order to make the best out of it.Īt least the civilization updates try to maintain the balance between the different civilizations so that’s definitely a good thing! Keep it going!Īnother remark I have is that with the Dutch translation, there are a few textual errors. It adds more options and strategies without completely changing the game. You also see that some combinations work better with a high player count and others with a low player count.
I played many games (including the latest expansion) and I really like the game! The replayability is high, so every game is unique. There is also a more complex version of the form here (if you use this one, please also fill out the simpler form). Log Your Win: Please use this simple form after a multiplayer game of Tapestry to record the winning civilization and their final score.
